RECORDING UPDATE!

The end is in sight! We've been working hard on making this batch of songs sound as good as they can. Most of the EP was recorded in my Brother's studio located in NJ. When I went out to MI though we helped construct a recording studio in my friend's basement. While I was there, we recorded bass guitar and even drums for 'Seattle'. The reason being... we built a friggin studio and had access to the gear, so why not fuck around a bit? So we brought the songs that I had completed already on my brother's external hard drive and brought them out to MI to add some extra instruments to.

Seattle
The end result is amazing! I never thought the song could sound this good. My friend Brent plays drums on it and I recorded Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica and sang on it - so right now it's just about finished.

Downtown Oakland
I've already recorded 2 acoustic guitars, vocals, harmonica and bass for 'Downtown Oakland' the only thing left to do is mix it down. I don't think I'll be adding anything else to this song, I kind of like the idea of it being pretty basic.

A Different Life
2 acoustic guitars (one strum - one finger picked) and bass are complete. Still need to do vocals and harmonica on this one.

If Everything Is Truly As It Should Be
Just finished re-writing this bad boy. Still haven't started recording it yet.

So you can see there is still some extra work that needs to be finished on recording. In the meantime, I need to pick a name for the EP and create some new artwork. I have an idea I've been bouncing back and forth... does anyone out there have any ideas they'd like to share??

This is now looking at a Fall release. It'll be worth it though.

Love you all,

Joe.
